Tim Humphrey joined The Lodge at Tiburon in 2014 as Executive Chef of the Tiburon Tavern. Humphrey extends his culinary expertise along with with his family’s background in farming to enhance Tiburon Tavern’s elevated comfort cuisine. In his role, Humphrey oversees the restaurant’s culinary operations and introduces new, handcrafted dishes seasonally.
Growing up in the Apalachicola National Forest in Northern Florida, Humphrey was enveloped by the joy of locally-harvested food from a young age. At just 15 years old Humphrey held himself to the highest standards, making sure he was always the first one in and the last one out of the kitchen. Whether it was helping earn Michelin stars at Meadowood and Murray Circle with his older brother, or representing the United States while cooking for the president of Taiwan, he is forever grateful to have been given the opportunity to share his family’s story through his culinary vision.
