Hotel Suite of the Week: Alexandrite Suite, Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa

ABC News names Hotel Suite of the Week: Alexandrite Suite, Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa.  At 5,000-square-feet, it’s one of Casa Madrona Hotel & Spa’s most luxurious. Located hillside in Northern California’s town of Sausalito, the entire structure shown underwent a complete renovation in 2014. Nightly rates start at $10k. Views from the balcony include Angel Island, Alcatraz, SF skyline, Golden Gate Bridge and more. Built in 1885 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, the Mansion was originally designed and built as the private residence of William Barrett, Secretary-­Treasurer for the San Francisco Gas and Electric Company. Pictured here is the living area, which includes floor-to-ceiling glass patio doors. The suite’s gourmet kitchen with Blue Jean granite countertops imported from Turkey, chef-grade appliances, fully stocked wine bar with Napa and Sonoma reserves, and more. Included in the 3,500 feet of living space is a fitness center. Guests of the suite enjoy private check in and concierge service to meet any requests. There’s also a Mercedes ML350 Bluetec with driver available for round trip airport transfers and any additional transportation needs.
