Newly Reconcepted, Tiburon Tavern Opens Offering Elevated Comfort Cuisine
Tiburon, CA (May, 2012) Set to open on June 4 to the public and guests of The Lodge at Tiburon,
the new Tiburon Tavern is pleased to reveal its complete redesign including brand-new culinary
offerings, cocktail menu and elevated atmosphere. Newly dubbed Tiburon Tavern to complement
the restaurant’s new focus on sophisticated comfort cuisine paired with Northern California’s
freshest ingredients and coastal influences, this resident public house will reopen as Tiburon’s
leading influential eatery with a farm-to-table dining approach and local gastropub vibe.
Chef Jamie Prouten, will be helming the kitchen at Tiburon Tavern and has designed the new menu
to showcase approachable, local cuisine. His menu of elevated classic comfort food has been crafted
around the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients, many of which are sourced or grown by nearby
farms and artisans including Lucky Dog Ranch, Mary’s Chicken, Coke Farms and Panorama Baking
Company. Prior to leading the culinary team at The Lodge at Tiburon, Prouten most recently
opened Rotisserie & Wine, part of the Tyler Florence Group in Napa, as Chef de Cuisine.
